Storyteller, Journalist, Photographer: Kathryn Tucker Windham
Kathryn Tucker Windham is an award-winning journalist and photographer. She has written several books, including a wildly popular cookbook and a series of ghost stories (13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey, for example). At age 90, she's still a hot ticket on the storytelling circuit, which keeps her busy with appearances at historical meetings, classrooms and storytelling events around the country.

You can hear Kathryn Tucker Windham's stories and commentaries each Friday at 7:35 a.m. during Morning Edition on APR.

Her stories were also featured during Alabama Life. Although that program is no longer on the air, it is still available online and as a podcast.  Also, look in the APR News section for some of her commentaries and a feature on her 90th birthday bash
